Thymosin Beta-4 (TB500) is a synthetic peptide that is derived from a naturally occurring protein called Thymosin Beta-4. It is primarily known for its potential therapeutic benefits in tissue repair, wound healing, and anti-inflammatory actions.
TB500 has been shown to promote the repair and regeneration of various types of tissues, including muscles, tendons, ligaments, and skin. It may help accelerate the healing process and improve tissue integrity.
It may facilitate the formation of new blood vessels, promote tissue granulation, and stimulate the migration of cells involved in wound healing, including both acute and chronic.
TB500 exhibits anti-inflammatory properties that may help to manage inflammatory conditions and reduce tissue damage. This peptide has also demonstrated the ability to protect cells from oxidative stress and apoptosis (programmed cell death). It can enhance cell survival and promote the maintenance of tissue integrity.
